Setting up Network scanning on my Color 550 and everything works fine except I get an XST file for each scan. Per a post elsewhere, I did disable logging but that has had no effect. All suggestions are greatly appreciated and welcome.

I did run across that post, but it seems there is a lot I don't know. Where is the XST file to edit? Is there a template for each user that needs to scan? There does not seem to be a facility to create different users or destinations. Is there a support FAQ somewhere that provides better detail than the System Administrator's Guide?

There are two places you can disable the Save Job Log (.XST) in Repository.
1- Scan tab - check "Templates" - Report Options section
The save job log should be Disabled.
2-Properties tab - Services - Network scanning - Default Template - Report Options section
