6510DN wake up from sleep

My brand new Phaser 6510DN is working fine!

However, once the energy saving settings progressed to the "auto" turn off phase the printer has no wake up from (very deep) sleep function.

 

Does any one have a solution for this, instead of using the power switch?

Try updating the firmware. I don't know of any known energy saver bugs like that, but have seen them on different products and it usually gets resolved by a firmware update, even if the update doesn't have the issue listed.

Hi Joe,

 

I have the most recent driver version installed.

No progression or other behaviour, wake up from sleep stiil not working.

Print driver in no way matters, which is why I linked the latest firmware, which is not the "latest as shown on Xerox.com"

Dear Joe,
 
I will upload the latest firmware to the phaser tomorrow (i’m not at the facility right now) and report the result.
I could have guessed that the printer driver would not solve the issue at printer level.

I updated the Phaser 6510DN via my Mac, so I had to use a different solution. An update to version 64.12.12.
This is a selection of the audit log:
