WorkCentre 7220 problem

Hello

The firm has two Xerox WorkCentre 7220. On one of the MFP is slow to respond touch screen (switching between menus and typing text happens with a large delay). From any PC in the LAN cannot access the web interface of the MFP. In this command ping to the address of MFP is successful.

Restart MFP does not help. Printing of documents takes place with a delay of 1 minute. If you disable the MFP from the local network and connect to LAN port of laptop, the web interface starts to open, and after rebooting MFP touch screen starts to respond quickly to the pressing of the menu items.

Flashing the MFP to the latest version 073.030.075.34540 not solved the problem.

In local network there are 15 Asus laptops with different operating systems from Windows 7 to Windows 10. The LAN computers are united in a WORKGROUP. The computers have the latest drivers PCL6 with Web-based Print and Scan Driver Installer. On laptops with Windows 10 64 installed Class Driver with the built-in wizard Windows.

There are the following error messages

In the file auditfile.txt downloaded from MFP there are reports

The problem is just on one MFP.

I would try a new hard drive and an alt boot load.

Really odd it only happens to one since those Class drivers are likely the source of the problem, MS coverts printers to WSD ports and that is the cause of the issue in every case I have seen this, it does not happen with the Xerox Native or Global driver with a Standard TCP/IP port and SNMP disabled on that port.

 

While I personally really dislike the .34540 firmware (latest version is much better), if you had this issue, upgraded from an 072 release to that 073 release, then have a technician paged to do an Altboot, no data backup, no clone and set it back up manually. That really is the only answer when you have 2 printers on one LAN where "everything is the same but it works different" because you leave it to only be corruption, and not a simple settings fix.
