Print Jobs Held Up in Queue With Status Code 22-513-04 WorkCentre 7530

On a WorkCentre 7530:

 

Print jobs coming from two different computers today started being stopped in the WorkCenre queue with a Status Code of 22-513-04.  The internal description for that code is:

 

"Queued job needs resources. User intervention is required to supply resources required for one or more queued jobs; jobs will be held until resources are available. Machine services are unaffected."

 

I can only access the machine remotely, but users standing at the machine report it seems to be wanting to send the job to a Tray that requires manually feeding. But the job is set to autoselect the Tray and the paper is just plain old 8.5 X 11 which is plentifully loaded in the printer's other trays.

 

The computers are running OS X.3.9 and using a driver for the WorkCentre 7328. These computers were working fine with the printer up until this morning.

Upgrade your print drives to the 75xx series machine. Since the machine is not printing correctly we need to start troubleshooting there.

Thanks for the upgrade recommendation!

 

Unfortunately, Xerox does not provide a compatible WorkCentre 7530 driver for OS X.3.9.  This is why the machines are still using the 7328 driver. (As a matter of fact the 7530 10.4 installer disk image will not even mount on 10.3.9).

 

And up until this morning, both machines were working fine.

 

Quite perplexing. It's almost as if someone accidentally changed something on the printer itself which is suddenly causing the 10.3 machines to fail. The 10.4 machines are working fine.

I'm having the same issue with one user and but the machine is a 7775 Workcentre. It's weird because its only ONE PDF this is happening with.

can you use this ppd file? its the latest one (universal driver) , ignore the model on that page...

A Xerox tech came and worked on the 7530. I was not present during the visit, but a second hand report suggests that he did not think he had resolved the problem with the 10.3 machines.

 

But, unexpectedly, the 10.3 machines began printing successfully afterwards.

 

So I remain puzzled, but the situation seems to be resolved.

 

No changes were made to the client computers themselves.

was anyone able to pinpoint the exact cause of this error code?

 

I have a customer experiencing it when attempting to print on 11x17

 

“the job was deleted due to a system error 22-319-04”

Heya!

 

This fault code is not the same as the one stated in the original post, which means this is different.

What I know, this fault code is usually seen when attempting to print a pdf in different sizes, this has been reported to Xerox and they are working on a fix.

 

Though all you can do right now what I know, is to convert the file to another format or change the size on the printout.

The errors you seem to be getting are from the firmware loaded on your machine. I would contact your local support group and obtain the latest firmware for your machine and upgrade it.
