Can you turn off accounting for EIP services?

I have a customer with a WC7556.  They have Color Traching only on copies and prints.  They are also using ScanFlowStore (EIP button).  However, it is asking for a accounting code anytime someone uses it.  Is there not a way to turn off Accounting for EIP services such as this?

Hi,

I think is a bug and may be corrected in the future, but until then you can do this workaround:

- Enter in to the printer using the internet services

- Go to Properties -> Accounting -> Setup

- edit Accounting Workflow

- Change all to Capture Usage only. Don't use the Pre-Authorization

Uh oh...I forgot to mention they are using XSA and not Network Accounting.  Network Accounting gives you those options, but for XSA, it's just Print, Copies and scans with Enabled, Disabled and Color Tracking only.

I'm out of solutions. I think it is still a bug. You should contact you local support centre.

Sorry not to have great news, but I think there is no way to not get prompt for Xerox Standard Accounting when using EIP pathways.

 

Seems that the logic is that the printer does not know if the EIP solution is copy, print or anyother...

At least they do not have to enter a code and just hit enter.  Thank you for clarifying that!
