Easy Translator - Error installing



I am having an issue installing the Easy Translator app from the Xerox App Gallery. I am installing to a Colorqube 8700 with Firmware version When I initiate the installation it begins processing and then this appears:

Please re-enter the admin credentials for that device. 

1. Go to the Devices tab

2. Navigate to the device

3. Select the Edit button

4. Re-enter the credentials


If this does not work, my suggestion would be to try another web browser (IE or Chrome). Please let us know if you are still having trouble installing the app and we can investigate further.

Your a xerox guru!! It worked, I knew I overlooked something!! I do however have a new issue. The app will not connect to the server. I am continuosly getting an error message "Unable to connect to server". The unit is directly connected to the router and is accessable through the IP address on my workstation. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

This could be the proxy setting. If a proxy is required to connect to the internet, this will need to be set at the device.  


Follow these steps: 

  1. Open an Internet browser on your computer.
  2. Enter the IP address of the multifunction printer (MFP) / device. The CentreWare Internet Services page for the MFP opens.
  3. Select Properties.
  4. Login as Administrator.
  5. Under Connectivity, select Setup.
  6. Under the Protocol section, for the Proxy Server option, select Edit.
    1. Under the HTTP Proxy Server section, select Enabled.
    2. Select the Proxy Server address type. The following options are available:
      • IPv4 Address
      • IPv6 Address
      • Host Name
    3. Enter in the appropriately formatted address and port number.
    4. Select Save. Proxy server settings must be Enabled for Extensible Server Setup. The Connectivity page displays.
  7. Under General Setup, select Extensible Service Setup. The Extensible Service Setup page displays.
    1. Under Proxy Server, select Proxy from the drop-down list.
    2. Under the HTTP, HTTPS section, verify that the proxy is enabled and the proxy information is displayed.
    3. Select Apply at the bottom of the page. Proxy server settings apply to features that use HTTP or HTTPS.
    4. Select OK to dismiss the pop-up message box.
  8. Exit the browser by closing it.
