Hi LonePine,
Thank you for using the Xerox forum.

I have found 2 known possibilities:

1st is Non Xerox Toner causing fuser jams due to higher melting point than Xerox toner.

2nd – Application. Using an application such as Adobe (Photoshop, etc) that application can provide things like composite black (all 4 colors to make black) and can cause the machine to over tone, too much toner for the fuser to handle and cause fuser jams.

Try lowering density to isolate.

6280 Phaser paper jam at fuser when color pictures involved

Printing works fine on the 6280 Phaser ... but recently anytime there is a color image on the page (photograph-like — not simple text with color), the paper jams at the fuser. This happens about 99% of the time now and so of course it has caused a lot of problems. Are there any solutions?
