Firmware update failure on Versalink B405

Xerox update caused malfunction of subject machine. Now support is telling me to pay a tech to fix. Should Xerox expect payment for repairs? Isn't that like r@nsomware? Xerox is sponsoring r@nsomware? No way! Truth, I say.

Re: Firmware update failure on Versalink B405

Hello, I have the same issue.

Hello, I was prompted to update system firmware.  My current Version is 38.50.61.  I followed the instructions and download the bridge Version first.  However, it failed and my printer is now not booting up. It's checking system files for a while and ultimately giving an error message: Booter Failed.   Could you please help advise how I would be able to resolve this issue? Thank you for your help!   Best regards, Johnny
