Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for installing the printer.I realize the solution is for XP but the basic instructions are the same. I am assuming you are connecting directly from the laptop to the printer using a USB connection. If you are networking the printer then you can also try pinging the printer. If this information does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

We had a docucentre 111 c6500 given to use for our helicopter fundraising group It photocopies fine and everything appears to work except connecting to the laptop The laptop is win 10 and found the device straight away . Problem is the light on the c6500 jobs in memory is on and the printer on line light is off Tried taking it online and offline but no difference Looked at all the jobs under administrator user I'd and password but no jobs listed anywhere
Any suggestions where to look next or any idea if there is a problem with the driver
