Re: 027-717(No MX Record at the DNS Query) using Office 365

Works fine on ours with the right settings on that firmware, but you didn't list any settings to compare with to see where theirs is incorrect

My guess is they have a Fiery on this device and therefore have the wrong DNS on the IOT and likely none on the Fiery itself, which easily could lead to a DNS issue. And this would not be the same usage case as the Kyocera and Sharp devices. The fact that it has never once reported a meter read to Xerox (Smart eSolutions) also heavily implies this is the case (Or they have a proxy)

027-717(No MX Record at the DNS Query) using Office 365

Product Name: Xerox Color C60/C70
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

ZH103603

C70

ser. no:E2B665740

software ver: 60.32.13

I have a customer that started using Office 365. They cannot get the Xerox to scan to email with out getting error code 027-717. I believe they have the correct credentials set because their Kyocera and Sharp scans to email just fine. The customer tried direct send and also setting up a relay. Thanks for looking into this. Any suggestions you have is greatly appreciated.
