You can try cleaning the scanner. If that doesn't work, you would need to schedule a service call. I will be closing commenting on this post as there is not other solutions and the Solution was provided.

What is the part number? I am not going to pay you to fix an issue that I can fix myself. If you do not want to give me the part number, then I have no problem with throwing the machine out, and never buying from you again. I always espouse how great your machines are, but I can change that opinion pretty quickly. Please send me, and everyone else on this thread the part number.

the "solution" for this is unacceptable. MANY people of shared this error code outside of Xeros as well. Many of us also don't have offices or corporate contracts we can just dial up for service. What you're suggesting is that we lift this gigantic printer into the car and drive it somewhere. Secondly, as many others have said, the only place my printer has ever been on a printer cart. It has never. been moved, dropped, hit or damaged s no one "mishandled the device so bad it would be obvious by the external damage." We need a better solution for this wide-spread issue!

What are the part numbers that are necessary to repair the problem. I have searched all over and cannot find what parts are necessary to replace the scanner bulb, so the illumination is bright enough for the scanner to work. Thank you in advance.

You can't, as stated, call for service unless you know the parts and are capable of replacing them.
