These are not the same devices, but here are the steps to unlock the scanner on the 3645. Have a look to see if you have a scanner lock ....

14-100 CCD lock

Product Name: WorkCentre 3335/3345
Operating System: Not Applicable
On my workcenter 3345 i cannot scan anything. have a massage ' unlock scanner'.
The problem is that i cannot locate 'lock switch' as the printer is showing on the screen. below document feeder.
I switch off and on workcenter multiple times. No results
Please advice how to unlock scanner'
