can you post the settins that you have right now?
A couple weeks ago we updated our DC's to 2008 R2 from Server 2003. We have Xerox MFD's that are used for scanning to email. Previously, the Users were forced to LOGIN (LDAP Authentication) at the user inferface of the MFD before they could scan. Now that we are on 2008 AD the user authentication doesn't work (fails). I'm guessing it has to do with LDAP signing, but I can't find any information on how to set up the MFD and LDAP signing to 2008 server. I called Xerox Tier 2 support and found out they know less about it than I do. I assume there are certificates to create and so forth.
Does anyone have any experience or information that will help shed some light on the Xerox LDAP authentication setup?
I'd like to accomplish each of the following in order :
1. LDAP search for email addresses
2. Authenticate users at the MFD using LDAP or Kerberos
3. Authenticate using CAC cards
