When Apple releases a new OS, they certainly don't need to tell every manufacturer what they are changing, or why, or how.
The latest firmware for the 3025 is this one here.
I don't know if it will fix it, but I don't think it will since Apple dropped SMBv1, and the printer doesn't support SMBv2 or SMBv3. The full details on scanning are here.
You can call Xerox and ask them to update it, or at least to confirm it doesn't or shouldn't work in 10.13.4 and up.
Can I expect update the firmware in the near future, Because in this case i can not use 100% my scanner/printer,
It means that I can rid off the brand new scanner??? The Xerox firmware page doesn't says that it not compatible (or any limitation) with the newest High Sierra.
What can i do now???
Sorry, I have nothing else to help, I don't have access to a 3025 to test, and it simply doesn't support SMBv2 or SMBv3. Which is probably what is used by that software they provide with it.
:))
I have found the command but first time it did not run.
Secondery was succesfuly run, but nothing changed. scanner not working
I bolded the and, sorry.
Type sudo /usr/libexec/configureLocalKDC
"great news"
Unfortunatelly i get - commandt not found.
tsilver
I'm pretty sure it just doesn't work in 10.13.4 and higher.
But you can try:
Latest Sierra OSX, and latest Xerox firmware and wifi. Print is working well.
Scanner not
If I have choosen scanner assistant I get a warning " Scanner device is not responding....... Change Port". But if I choose the change port option, Scanner sad "ready to scan" ???????
If I choose the build image scannner from osx I get a -9927 error
Under windows is working well both scanner and print
Any idea?
