3210 - unable to change default scan to Object

When you are at that screen - if you press the OK button does it display scanning options?

Thanks John.  Seems very curious that there would be an option listed in the software called "Change Default Scan", and then it would bring you to a screen where it would appear to have left right scrolling to make that change, and then not scroll.  Almost like someone forgot to code the rest of the function and QC didn't catch it, so the unit went to market unfinished.  

No chance for a firmware update to fix this?

The change that you are trying to make is unfortunately not possible to do.  You can change the default settings within the scan feature itself, and you can set up templates but, you cannot change the default scan object.

This unit offers scan to USB, scan to Application (PC) and scan to Network.

The default scan to on the display is USB.  I want it to be Application.  Have treid using the menu, going into scan setup, and choosing Change Default,  but when I use the arrows to move to the next selection, it offers none.  It shows  a top line of Change Default, and a lower line of <USB Default>.  The arrows are there, which would normally inidcate there are other selections, but it will not scroll either left or right.
