Yeah, frivolous isn't the word for this. Stating that the drivers are available is actual quite practical.
Why are you waiting for something available months ago?
It was a very frivolous answer, we are still waiting for a solution. This is completely unacceptable.
The macOS® Catalina drivers continue to be released. The Catalina driver for the WorkCentre 3215 / 3225 and Phaser 3260 is now available. If you do not see it listed please select a different language in the language field on the drivers and downloads page and then change back to the language you need and you should see the driver. This is a cache issue that we are aware of and working but in the meantime, the changing language tip will work. We thank you for your patience and apologize for the delay in releasing the drivers.
Same problem here, it doesn't work without the drivers. Months without the driver for a very common printer and OS used by millions.
Any idea when the driver for macOS Catalina will be released? Its already Jan and I am still unable to use scanner in my 3215.
The Catalina Drivers is being evaluated and I believe it may be available in January.
You can still add the printer on macOS using the built-in “Generic Postscript PPD”.
If Xerox driver features are really needed, you could try an unsupported work-around in which you install the Xerox macOS Common Print Driver from a closely related product which is supported on Catalina. Note that there may be incompatibilities that could cause not all feature/function to work properly
