Yes, Gmail is possible as you do have SSL/TLS on this machine.

Have a look HERE for a guide to set it up, it's without pictures though but I do not have the same machine so cannot take any for you.

Also check the first link I gave you again, as it does say what ports and SMTP server to be used etc.

This is not helping me. I have never set up email on one of these befor,

Does Gmail even work with this machine? Am I wasting my time trying to do something that can't be done?

What I need is to see print screens showing what needs to be filled out, what needs to be checked, what the ports should be.

I have a Workcentre 3550 and have seen print screens from other machines but that does not help me.

Have a WorkCentre 3550 and want to get the e-mail working. I can use gmail or yahoo. Which on will work and what are the settings. I have tried both and am not having any luck. I may have missed some thing in the settings. If someone knows what settings work please pass it on. Thanks
