Fabio,

 

Thank you - I see your point.  Edit the default subject lines and remove the body text (other than the actual attachement), in case there is a odd phrase that is triggering our spam filters.

 

Will test and post results.

thats true , but every type of xerox machine has another config...

for example , the body configuration per machine is different...

 

Maybe there is a word in the body configuration that is the spam server rejecting...

 

You can delete al body text in the options of the email in the machine config, i have to do that sometimes

Fabio, - Thank you. we have a 7132 and wcp 265 copiers on the same network and they work fine with the same smtp mail servers and clients.

The web based job history log for the machine defines each event the same way "completed" and "Scan to email"

Does the machine give in the status , completed with no errors? That its probably an spam server thats blocking your mail... Do you have exchange 2007? there is the internal spam default on , you have to configure that one...

6180MFP Scan to email disfunction

Hello Forum,

 

I have a 6180MFP that works great and I only recently setup the scan to email function.  The scan to email as pdf works for the first scan of the day but subsequnet scans at 2 or three minute intervals register in the web job history but the destination address never gets the pdf.  (even if the first scan went through cleanly).

 

In the admin settings I found "scan to email" with the options "enable 1" and "enable 2".  But in either setting there is no behavioral difference.

 

It this a feature to prevent abuse of the scan to email function? Only one a day? :)  I found some posts off of the xerox site with the same symptoms but no solutions.  I am out of warranty so tier 2 support is not even an option for me.

 

Any and all help will be appreciated!
