The second picture clearly shows Local User so they definitely are not logged in.
So the from address is the one assigned to the printer itself which appears to be PBMXerox@pbmtn.com.
It can't populate the to: address because it has no idea who is standing in front of the machine
pop3 has nothing todo with the things you want
mu guess is that you havent enabled LDAP authentiftcation on the machine
when you use the machine for copy/email/... do you need to logon with your AD userid/password? if not, they you dont have authentication enabled, therefore its not possible to retrieve the email from your ldap/ad
I can't figure out what your asking.
If the option is enabled, and the user logs in to the copier using their LDAP credentials, it will pull their email address and put it in the from field.
If they don't authenticate, or they do and it can't find their email address, it will use whatever the printer is told to use by default in the SMTP settings.
Does the email address populate here when you search that persons login they use at the device?
I've tested this on two 7120's and how I would expect the 'Add Me to "To" field check box to work would be that when I open the Scan to Email option from the machine there would already be a reciepiant, the machine's From email address, prepopulated. This does not appear to be the fuction of this feature as nothing is prepopulated or any change at all. Tested with both the Add Me to "To" field and Add Me to "CC" Field options- same result that there is no change.
If I go to the 'Add Me' button on the interface I can choose the To, CC, BCC fields and it will then populate the machine's From address into the desired selection, but I would expect it to automatically do that from how the 'Add Me to "To" Field reads.
Any help on something I may be missing? Screenshot below of the offending checkbox.
