7435, scaning from pc/mac software?

Well, thank you. The second solution was what i was looking for. But for the 1st (scaning), I didn't ask for that. I new that.

I want (if it's possible) to scan FROM my computer. Some times I don't want to scan all the page of a document, but a small area. So, I'm looking for a software, witch allows me to preview a document in my machine's glass, and select a specific area, changeing some properties and then, save it on my computer or network...

I have th WorkCentre 7435 with fax, scan etc. an I was wondering if there is a software that let us scan a document from our computer, like simple scaners.

Another question I have, is if we can fax a document directly from our computer without the need to print it and send it from the xerox. If you know what I mean, there was a software driver of an internal fax/modem i had, that lets you fax directly from MS word, if you choose that driver as printer.
