You could try turning down the DPI. This will reduce quality but at the same time will reduce file size.

i think you still exceed the limit , since the machine needs to progress the scans first , and while processing they are not compressed... (not sure though)

Need to send 15-20 pages as JPEG over email on a regular basis.  Job takes a long time (5 minutes or longer) and ultimately errors giving the report "Failure transferring job to network server".  The user has to manually split the job into groups of 5 pages and send each group as its own scan.  PDFs and TIFFs seem to send fine.

Message size would not exceed the email server's max message size and the 7545 max message size is set to match that message size.  System software is 061.120.100.20700
