7545 mixed size original and hole punch

I'm guessing you are doing this from the copier? What did 2nd level advise when you asked about this question? Since you obtained a log number to get to second level I would suggest calling back in to speak to a different person. What is your log number?

I have a customer (mortgage office) with a 7545 with a professional finisher.  They need to photocopy mixed size originals (letter and legal) together and have them 2 hole punched at the top of the page.

They have trays with legal & letter both turned landscape (short edge feed).  We choose mixed size originals.  Then we try to choose 2 hole punch.  In order to choose hole punch, you have to specify a paper tray, which overrides the mixed size original setting.

Ideas?  Xerox 2nd level didn't help me.
