Try using the email address for the user most win 8 boxes configued using a email address and leave the workgroup off unless you are on a domain usually XXXX. local. Also make sure the folder has eveyone permissions also make sure to use port 445 and also make sure advanced sharing options allow sharing for the current network type you are on also if not on a true domain make sure you put something in the dns domain space and then disable firewall antivirus to rule those out if you get to work then put firewall back then antivirus until you enable all with succes if you get a hang you know where to look to add an exception. Ive set a 78 to scan to win 8 so is possible

Yes, FTP will work. Also, if you contact your support center you will be able to download and apply the patch to your Xerox device.

The computer is win 8.

this is my setup : 

Protocol : SMB

IP adress :  <ip-adress of the computer>

Share : <Name of the Share Folder> 

 

 

Account : <WORKGROUP\username>  

Password : <mypassword>

 

The confirmation page remind me: " Unknown Errors"

 

Would someone can give me advice about it?
