Still no resolution. What support centre? Tech support from the company that sold us the machine has taken a look but they say the problem is network related and therefore not their problem. They did run Wireshark and gave me the results which I've included below. Any ideas?

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure you are configuring the scan template properly. Also make sure you have configured scanning properly. Make sure that you have downloaded and installed the newest version of the scan driver(s) for Windows 7. If none of this helps please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
We are on a PTP network with Win 7 computers. Regardless of which Win 7 computer we try, scanning only works after rebooting the destination computer. We don't know how long it will work. One time it's 5 minutes the next time it might be all day. However, we can always scan to a WinXP. That connection is never lost. Any ideas?
