Does anybody own one of these, and can someone give me some reactions about printers?

Hi Frank,
Glad to hear that this resolved your issue! The scanner lamp warm up is a normal occurrence on every printer - so it's not just yours. You probably just didn't notice it until recently. :smileyhappy:

Hello John,
thank you for the answer... Thats it....
With best wishes from Germany

PS: My old C2424 are printing everytime... is these scanner warm up new at the 8560 ?
Hello Frank,
The reason why you are noticing the wait time for a copy, scan, or fax job is due to the warm up time of the scanner lamp. See below:
Scanner Warm Up Times (affects copy, scan, and fax functions)
The scanning lamp will dim after 20 minutes of inactivity. It will take approximately 20 seconds for the scanning lamp to warm up after the next copy, scan, or fax job is requested.
That is why your print jobs do not experience the same delay. The scanner lamp is not involved in a print job. I hope this answers your question.

Hello,
anyone a idea ????
I´ve seen that the problem is only at the duple with "scanning" and "copy"...
And nothing at the scanning or copy procedure on the glass plate.
Why is it so ?
Frank

Frank
Hello,
My 8560 MFP has a curios problem...
Now, if the 8560 is warm, I can print very fine.
If I want to copy a paper (duplex or glassplate) the display
say "wait to copy / warming up" and if is 100% it makes a nice copy.
After 15 or more minutes, I can printing very fine
but if I want to make a copy its the same display information
and I must wait till 100 %.
Why is it so ?
If I print, I think the printer is 100% warm, why must I wait
if I copy ??????
Please help
Frank
