8560 MFP - scan to SMB/Network folder

for scanning you can download the tool from the support site.
you scan to that tool , instead of public folder... That tool will forward it to a folder or will open a outlook client...

the brochure is misleading

In reading the documentation, it appears that using scanning document policies you can scan directly to a folder.  It is unclear of the folder has to reside on the 8560 or can it be a shared folder on our network. 

Also, can you scan directly to email using SMTP?
