Re: Account codes

And nobody should see any of the 4 digit codes.

I do have an admin password set up.

Re: Account codes

Under permissions then user accounts, do I need to put the 4 digit code in user name or password?

Re: Account codes

Joe,

I appreciate your response. I should have been more accurate. What I am wanting is only on copies, any user to come up to the MFP, and not have to put in a user ID. Only an 4 digit account code that represents their department. Then make as many copies as they want, then it log them out after 2 or 3 minutes of no imputs.

I made the changes per your solution. Now I can't put in any code and it's asking for a user ID. We have about 50 4 digit codes. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks again.

Change it to Local

And when prompted choose Type in their User name

Account codes

Product Name: VersaLink C7020/C7025/C7030 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows Server 2016 x64

We use departmental account codes for copies. I have entered in all of our codes in our VersaLink C7030.

The problem is touching the log in button brings up all the codes and any are usable. Is there a way to not have those codes shown but still have to enter a code when you want to make a copy.
