Purpose
This SW Fix Patch is intended for the specific problem identified below:
• Add ME button when going to EMAIL is not visible anymore since update to 101.x.x.x version.

Patches often come with a pdf that is meant to be seen by employees only, or a specific company.person. Just be sure you don't link those if they are there.

I don' t believe the patch itself is an issue, just like there is absolutely no issue with direct linking SPAR firmware.

yes, thats is indeed a working around, that the patch will fix

i tried that also, but the problem is, when you fillin a fake ldap, also with the personal user profile turned off, the login time sessios is much longer

even if personal is off, seems tthe machine still looks on ldap to verify something, no idea what, but you see the login time is taking longer, no ideal also

for now, when customer dont have ldap, i just enable "auto add me", then i have a fast login time

We have tested this problem on a Altalink C8030 with firmware 101.001.009.00300

If you have a customer that don't use LDAP, only a local adressbook, you just need to fill in the LDAP. This doesnt have to be an existing one. After this you need to hide the network adressbook en the Add Me button is back. You also have to enable the Personal User Profile. Problem is probably solved in a newer firmware version. But this is a temporary solution.

Guys for info, this is now escalated, as soon I have the patch, I will post here....
In the meantime time, what u figured out for a workaround, if you enable "auto add me" then your email address is filled in...

Just seems the "add me" button is not visible when " auto add me" is turned off, in combination with no ldap/email attribute
