Re: AltaLink c8045 Scan to Home Not Working with With Netapp

It is possible you need to do this:

1.JPG2.JPG

Juts try it with only SMBv2, and with only SMBv3 if 2 still fails, else:

Print the config sheet and scan it, then run the embedded Network trace and do a scan to the location when it works, save the trace and call it works.pcap

Do it again with scan to home where it will fail and name it fails.pcap

Call Xerox and have them diagnose from the wireshark traces and config sheet, they will probably suggest an altboot no data backup though because the firmware I linked fixes the issue you describe for everyone else who has run it, where the one on Xerox.com for this machine very much doesn't fix it.

AltaLink c8045 Scan to Home Not Working with With Netapp

Product Name: AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10

Recently setup a Altalink c8045 and was unable to get scan to home working with our netapp. Intresting if I copy the home area on to a Windows 2012 file server I dont see any issue. So it seems like the LDAP lookup works fine and the permissions are good but it just doesnt like the Netapp and gives the "login fail" error. Any hints on how to get this working would be great!
