Re: Auto forward a copy of scanned files to a pre-defined email address

That is a serious invasion of privacy, I can't imagine any device allowing that. Nothing Xerox sells would do that.

Having said that, you control the mail server which means you control the email account the printer uses, there is a sent folder for that account that would have all the jobs in it server side.

Auto forward a copy of scanned files to a pre-defined email address

Product Name: VersaLink C7020/C7025/C7030 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Not Applicable

Hi,

I have a requirement that I've been trying to fix for a long time.

I have a versalink C7030 , with address book configured, email server setup ( my mail server is hosted on one.com)

We want that whenever one of my users , will scan to email to themselves, I should receive a copy of the scanned file on a certain pre-defined email address ( or if I use the said email address as a from address on the device, I should recieve a copy for the scanned emails in my "sent" folder on my email)

The scenario here is that, we're a small company of 10 people, the email address we require all scans to be autoforwarded to, belongs to the owner who wants to keep an eye out for any sensitive documents being scanned without authorization.

Please help me on achieving this configuration , Thanks in advance.
