I've read that the Altalinks don't support digital faxing. Only analog. The Versalinks seem to work fine with a digital fax bridge. I've got one Altalink to work with the new firmware and lowering the Baud rate through the NVMs, but it won't work like that with the others. I've had others work with older firmware and a patch, but some won't work like that either. I assume it's a fluke if they work. I'm on level 3 Xerox tech support, to find a fix. My suggestion is to have them get a diferent model or, as a temp fix, a different brand. Best of luck.

I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance with not receiving faxes via the bridge. Please call 1-800-821-2797.

I would first make sure that fax has been enabled by following these steps. Then check the incoming fax settings. If that doesn't work, I would recommend calling Support: 1-800-821-2797.
Hello, I have a fax bridge hooked up to a C8145. The device will send faxes perfectly fine, however will not receive faxes. They stop at the bridge on incoming. When the bridge is set up on a Versalink, it works just fine, sending and receiving. Has anybody had this issue on the Altalinks?
