I have the exact same problem with my new B215. If I try to scan to a folder on my Mac through SMB it keeps saying that the username or password is wrong. I am sure, they are not.
I made some additional tests.
In all cases the "Status Details" says "username or password is wrong".
I use the latest firmware.
Can anyone help?

You can try to get a clone with settings from the working machine and to install on the non working machine.

B215 Keeps saying wrong username or password.
IT IS NOT WRONG.
I have an identical B215 with the exact settings.
I have tried the exact settings on an Altalink C8155 - The test passes gloriously, so again its not my information.
The password is not expired, it is not typed in wrong, and it works again on another B215 and C8155.
I have rebooted the printer, done a firmware upgrade. Re-entered the folder. Changed Folder name with no spaces, gave it a short name.
Any more suggestions ?
And for the love of the fate of the Universe...DON'T link THIS Scan to Network (SMB Folder or FTP Server) (xerox.com) as the answer because IT DOES NOT WORK.
