I can't replicate scanning to Win10 via SMB.

Are you sure the username/password you are using has full permissions on the share, because it looks like it has read/write, but not modify (needed to delete the temporary lock file(s))

Lock files are placeholders, say you do a big scan, the printer decides to call it Xerox_Scan001.pdf, but before the file is transferred, printer B decides its scan is going to be Xerox_Scan001.pdf too, and it does a smaller scan that gets there faster. The Lck file stops that from happening by causing the 2nd device to see a file that will be there soon.

B215 scan files together with LCK folders

Jump to solution
Product Name: Xerox B215 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Dear Xerox,

bought B215, all set up. When "scan to network" using smb, then printer together with pdf makes *.LCK folders with filename 9C934EAE8561 inside. Filename contains following "/Xerox_Scan001.LCK\9C934EAE8561".

Using latest firmware from xerox homepage (made firmware upgrade).

Perhaps someone could provide factory firmware, altboot for downgrading ?xerox.jpg
