Hello Paya, 

Since the scan to email is working from the glass, I would suggest calling into the support deparment @ 1-800-835- 6100 for help with scanning from the ADF.

B315 scan to e-mail does not work from ADF tray

Product Name: Xerox B315 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Not Specified

Dear Xerox!

I have brand new B315 machine.

The scan to e-mail function does not work from automation document feeder.

Step by step:

  • loading on original document into the ADF tray
  • select e-mail icon
  • insert e-mail address
  • push enter
  • document is scanning
  • instead of delete/next/send window it step back the insert e-mail address field

All settings are ok on e-mail setup.

Firmware Level: MXLBD.081.215

Warnings: No warnings exist on the device.

The scan to e-mail function works from the scanner glass!

Can anyone suggest a solution?
