Re: Booklet copying on 4112

hi Alex, from www.support.xerox.com you should be able to select COPY BOOKLET - see below - good luck!

NOTE:Only landscape (Short Edge Feed (SEF)) oriented paper may be used to make booklets that are folded and / or stapled. Images will be automatically reduced to fit the selected output paper. If the number of pages in the booklet is not a multiple of four, the remaining pages will be output as blank pages.

  1. Load the originals face-up in the Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF).
  2. Press the [All Services] button on the Control Panel. The All Services screen will be displayed.
  3. Select the [Copy] button on the Touch Screen. The Copy screen will be displayed.
  4. Select the [Output Format] tab. The Output Format screen will be displayed.
  5. Select [Booklet Creation]. The Booklet Creation screen will be displayed.
  6. Select one of the following options:
    • [OFF]: Booklet Creation is not applied to copies.
    • [Left Bind / Top Bind]: Copies are made to enable left binding (book) or top binding (calendar).
    • [Right Bind]: Copies are made to enable right binding (book that reads from right to left).
    • [Copy Booklet]: Output the copies of scanned documents as they are by specifying Folding / Stapling when copying without specifying Booklet Imposition.

Booklet copying on 4112

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

We have a Xerox 4112 at work and we frequently make booklets. I know how to create booklets from single letter sheets, but we need to know how to reproduce another booklet from a booklet.

In other words, how do I copy a booklet (with the staples removed, 2 pages printed on each side of tabloid sheets, arranged to create a booklet) and produce a new, identical folded and stapled booklet.

Thanks!

Alex
