I cannot scan with my newly purchased printer.
The printer is connected to the PC via the Fritzbox 7490 using a LAN cable via Ethernet IPv4 and can print.
When after pressing "Scan to" -> "Network" -> Browse SMB, Unexpected communication error. Cannot browse at the time. Check the network connection."
So far I have tried the following without success:
In Win10 via "Programs and Features" ->
"Activate or deactivate Windows features" ->
"Support for SMB 1.0 / CIFS file sharing" enabled.
With the Fritzbox as a precaution over "home network"
-> "USB / Storage" -> "Home network sharing" -> Activate support for SMBv1 "
Is there a solution? Thanks for your support.
