Re: C3290FS Scanning 016-782

Hello,

I don't know if it will be helpful for you but you can try this :

- Check that the printer is physically connected to the network.

- Use CWIS to verify that the user name and password settings are correct.

C3290FS Scanning 016-782

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have been pulling my hair our for ages with this, well not litteraly but I have lost hair since it started.

When we first got our machine it worked..........it worked well. After about a month scan to folder stopped working, I tried removing and reinstating the shared folder, added new user accounts on the Windows machines (both Vista and 7), tried different permissions. I have tried everything and it has cost me some many hours.

Scan to email thankfully still works - though I lost it a couple of weeks ago and it started working again once I changed from static to DHCP.

Something really strange is that some time ago (the last time I tried to get scan to folder working) I recall the mac address of the unit listed on the web interface was one digit/letter different to that which was in my arp table. I am curious if I might have a dud network card in the unit? It is actually displaying the correct mac atm.

I would be very appreciative of any assistance that could be given.
