Can Offset Collate on Print Job cannot Offset Collate on Copy Job

Our Workcentre 4250 does an offset when copying and printing, the Workcentre 4265 offsets when printing but not copy, it's interesting both the 4250 & 4265 have a collated-uncollated option but neither has a offset-no offset option..any thoughts?

Hello Robert,

I searched the online knowledgebase and I cannot find any information on Offsetting when copying, only info I see is for Collating. I am not sure if that is an option for this device. I would recommend contacting a Support for more information: 1-800-821-2797.

New installed all set up and running,

just one major issue- doing alot of multiple copy jobs of 3-5 pages collated and want the jobs to be Offset.

The WorkCentre 4250 we had before this MFP would both copy and printed jobs both collated and offset 1/4 inch apart. Our new 4265 will do a printed job in both collated and offset, but the copy jobs are being stacked only in one pile. Both the 4250 and 4265 have either collated or uncollated opitons, and neither lists offset under copy options, but the 4250 collated fine on copy jobs and the 4265 has never offset, only collates.

4265 System Software came with is Version 50.003.03.000

Wanted to make sure it's a hardware issue and not a design issue.
