I recently took over a network and they have a ALtaLink C8045 MFP copier that hasn't allowed them to scan to email or scan to folders since they switched to a new network. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this but have had no luck.
The users that are not new are able to scan to their folders no problem - new users not happening. They can't email themselves anything they scan - doesn't send.
Also, they can only receive faxes they can't send out.
I know I'm missing something - - any ideas are appreciated!
Do the new users have access rights to the scan to folder? I searched out online knowledgebase and found some articles that may have some information that help you:
I am having the same problem here. Sometimes it works, then it fails again without knowing why.
All setings are correct. I can send a test email via the web interface. It's getting through. When I give it
a shot from the printer, it fails with the message. One or more of the addresses are invalid.
I changed the passwords at my SFTP and EMAIL hoster and now it's a total failure. I have entered and
saved the passwords via web interface on the xerox machine correctly.
I had this issue before. I did not change anything and on the next day it suddenly worked.
Is this a hosting and/or Airport Express WLAN issue?
It worked before, now it no longer works.
