Re: Can this scan to cloud services like Box, OneDrive?

Hi Reditguy, George has provided you with the correct answer and if you want to see it working, here is a YouTube video, https://youtu.be/F4ymYscmsUw, that shows it in action.

Re: Can this scan to cloud services like Box, OneDrive?

With XWC the user will authenticate into the device. When the user selects the Connect to App (Box/OneDrive) the user will log into the Box / OneDrive with their credentials. They will then be prompted if they want to save for SSO.

This saves the Cloud token for that user for that connector.

The next time the user athenticates at the device and selects the Connect to App they will not be promted for their credentials.

The link below will take you to the Xerox App Gallery which shows the workflow associated with the Connect to Apps.

Re: Can this scan to cloud services like Box, OneDrive?

Last question....with SSO can I still scan to a Box or Onedrive folder without needing to enter credentials everytime?

I'm being told I need to setup Box email accounts and then scan to Box that way if I want to scan directly to Box without needing to enter credentials.

Can I have multiple "shares" in Box or whatever to scan to? Ex: for Compliance, for HR.

Re: Can this scan to cloud services like Box, OneDrive?

Reditguy,

For Box, you will need a Connect to Box App from the Xerox App Gallery.  Users will need to login every time unless you have the Xerox Workplace Cloud Solution which supports Single Sign On.

For OneDrive/Sharepoint - there are Connect for OneDrive and Connect for Office365 (SharePoint) apps in the Xerox App Gallery.  Users will need to login every time unless you have the Xerox Workplace Cloud Solution which supports Single Sign On.

Please engage with your Sales Organization if you need further assistance.

Re: Can this scan to cloud services like Box, OneDrive?

Sorry, I'm getting conflicted answers and unclear answers.

1.  Can I scan to Box cloud? If so, what do I need?

2. Can I scan to OneDrive/SharePoint? If so, what do I need?

3. Do either of them need you to enter credentials everytime someone wnats to scan something? Or can we setup favorites like we would if scanning to a network shar, but scanning to cloud instead.

Re: Can this scan to cloud services like Box, OneDrive?

ReditGuy,

The VL 625 and VL415 support a Cloud Services login session retention policy.

Here is the link to the System Administrators Guide. The Sys Admin guide is for both the 625 and 425.

https://download.support.xerox.com/pub/docs/VLB415/userdocs/any-os/en_GB/VersaLink_C625_C415_B625_B4...

Print From on Page 218 and Scan To on Page 261 addresses the setup.

There is also the Xerox Workplace Solutions that support Single Sign On (SSO) for Cloud Respository Connectors from the Xerox App Gallery.

Re: Can this scan to cloud services like Box, OneDrive?

Are they supported on the 415?

Also, is it just a scan to Box/whatever cloud service folder I set to or do I have to put a username/password everytime I want to scan to Box or something?

Re: Can this scan to cloud services like Box, OneDrive?

Reditguy,

The Xerox C315 can scan to email, USB and Desktop only.

Your earlier post included the C625. The C625 can scan to  Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive with an optional Scan To kit. It can Print From those same cloud respositories natively.

In the Xerox App Gallery are Connector Apps that support MS OneDrive, Box, MS Office 365, Google Drive, Evernote, Docushare GO, Sharepoint *(via 365).  The XAG apps are not supported on the C315.

I hope this helps.
