Re: Cannot Scan to Folder(SMB) after replacing to a new router

Did you setup to scan to PC's hostname or IP address? When you swapped the router, it's likely the IP addresses change and that may have broken the connect.

bye for now.

Hello Rondey,

Unfortunately this is a Fuji Film device so I do not have access the the knowledgebase for this device. I will leave the post here in case another user knows the answer to this one.

Thanks,

Cannot Scan to Folder(SMB) after replacing to a new router

Product Name: DocuCentre-IV C2260
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

We are from Hong Kong.

Our company has 3 PCs (all Win10 x64)connected to a router. Recently we have purchased DocuCentre-V C2265 from local store and have it connected to the router(old TP-Link brand used 5+ years). After inital configuration on PC sides(enabling SMB, creating shared folder)and C2265 side(setting up address books),the scan-to-PC-folder function(via SMB)works well as desired.

However, as we have switched to a new router(TP-link AC1900 MU-MIMO Wifi Archer C80) yesterday, the scan-to-PC-folder(via SMB) function suddenly failed itself. Ironically, printing from PC side and scan-to-email function still worked perfectly.

Upon the failure, we received the following fault codes printed from C2265︰

- Fault Code 018-755: Server Connection Error in SMB

- Fault Code 018-747: Server Not Found in SMB

We are clueless about the issue and would like to seek your advice.

Thanks.
