Check to make sure you are not connected to the "Public" network and if so, switch it to the"Private" network. I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Software Specialist for more assistance with not being able to scan. Please call 1-800-821-2797.
I have been using my Xerox to scan to a specific folder for well over 10 years. I changed out my desktop computer a few days ago and made sure to keep all of the folder shares in place. I CAN scan to folder IF I turn off the firewall. I have tried adding ports 445, 139 as exceptions to the firewall and it still won't work. This is driving me nuts. Any help would be very much appreciated.
