Actually, I have two issues - on our device, under "Workflow Scanning > Default Template" I have a template configured, but want to add another. I click the "Add" button, and it takes me to the Default Template page where I choose my desired file destination from the drop-down, click "Apply" and it does not appear in the list of default templates! What is going on? I cannot seem to delete the existing default templaet either.
Secondly, for the new file repository location, I want to make this one send to an FTP site, but I need the resulting scan as a text file, not pdf. I cannot seem to find where or how to make this happen.

I consider myself to be fairly resourceful and have searched the available documentation.
As I stated in my post, when I attempt to add a new default template it is not working for me.
Also, I have not been able to locate any information on changing the scan output from pdf to text.
I ended up calling Xerox support and managed to get the issue resolved. I was just trying to configure the settings in the wrong place. Also learned the device, in fact most current scanning devices, do not scan to text :catembarrassed:
