Thank you for your responce :smileyhappy:
The solution you provided would work in the situations where I was simply opening an attacment and printing it.
In this situation the copier has it's own email.
The copier opens the email and prints it out without any human input (or at least it used to).
I am trying to get it to work automatically. Right now it opens the e-mail and attempts to print it but then says "Held-resources not available"
I did try setting it as a default for the machine to default the print size to 8.5x11 from tray 3 whenever dealing with the outlook email. In the end it is still holding the jobs.
What else should I try?
Hi terentellie,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solutions for the error "held for resources" and see if those help. Also if the email comes over as a PDF review the solution for paper issues. If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Hello,
We receive our faxes via email. The email is then sent from outlook to our machine at which point it would normally print out automatically. Recently after restaring the machine due to a lockup, the machine is holding the e-mails with the message "Held - resources not available" when I look at the jobs requirements they show they require odd paper sizes such as 8.5x11.1, 8.5x11.4 and 8.5x11.9... The only way I can get these to print is by opening tray 3, closing it and when the prompt comes up, tell the machine the paper is of the needed size, even though the paper size in reality is only 8.5x11.
Is there a way I can have the machine simply print the e-mail out on a regular sized paper that the machine has?
Thank you
