Configuration File Compatibility

Hi everyone, 

I already tried Googling, but was bogged down with a buch of useless informatioin. Is there a Xerox monochrome MFD which takes the same "configuration file" as the Phaser 6510/WorkCentre 6515? We currently have several 6510/6515 units, so it'd be great if our monchrome unit upgrades took the same config files. This would save a lot of time before we pushed any new units into production.

Thank you for using the Support Forum. The feature you are describing is "cloning".  Unfortunately to use the clone feature, both the source printer and the destination printer must be the same model and have the same version of firmware.  If the new machines are all the same model and firmware then you would only need to set-up one of them and then clone to the others.  Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
