Re: Connecting Fax to NAS Server

The VersaLink products only support fax forwarding to email. It is unlikely that you'll be able to forward these faxes to a NAS. The only way that I can see that working is if the NAS itself can retrieve and archive emails from a monitored email address or you setup some application that can do that, watch an email and dowload the attachments to a NAS, for you.

Connecting Fax to NAS Server

Product Name: VersaLink C505 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10

Hello Xerox community,
To preface this, I am a newly hired office manager with little tech knowledge, so I'm very inexperienced with this sort of thing. I may need a "Xerox For Dummies 101" kind of solution for this problem!
Does anyone know if the Versalink C505 printer can connect to a NAS server, and if so, how? Our old fax machine would receive faxes and have records of them within our NAS server, which employees could access while working remotely. We're trying to get the Versalink C505 to do the same thing, but I have no clue where to begin or if the Versalink C505 is even capable of this. If anyone could offer some guidance in this process, I would greatly appreciate it!
