Copier Producing Wide Horizontal Lines

Thanks again Joe, I am not much of a Tech where photocopiers are concerned. I will try and get an expert to look at it and try the solutions suggested here.

Fuser is failing, it may be dead, I don't know where you could even get a fuser to replace it

Thank you for your response. The original type was Text. As of now the machine is in and endless loop of "warming up" making it impossible to photocopy. Therefore I am unable to try your suggested solutions above. I have tried to switch it off and on again but no way, it is stuck in "Warming up... Ready... Warming up..." loop. Any idea what I can do about this?

Since you didn't post what the original was I can't understand what should have been there.

Having said that, Black is what happens under bright light or when the scanner light dies, so make a copy of nothing with the lid open and watch the light and see if it is dead. If not, verify if it happens off the glass and off the feeder.

Also make sure the original size and output size are the same.

Please help me ladies and gentlemen. I have a Xerox phaser 3200 multifunctional printer. It prints well but the problem is with the photocopy function. It produces wide black horizontal columns. I have looked around and tried to clean the glass but the problem does not go away. Below is an image of a sample from the copier. Thank you in advance.
