These does happen on a number of occasions. I was standing there copying my documents then someone sent a document to be printed to the copier and it interruped my copying. I did not hit interrupt, i did nothing. I have been looking all over the place trying to find how to set the print priority so that does not happen again. So not to be mean Joe but .......
I have never in my life even heard of a machine that could do that if you wanted it to, it simply makes no sense at all that you would want it to do that, and the firmware / software on any device I have dealt with can't.
I'm afraid I have no answer to provide, as far as I am concerned, what you were told is happening, can't be.
Maybe I formulated wrong.
The problem is:
We start copy 5 page on the printer, locally.
And when the copy was at 3-4 page, somebody sent a print task to the printer and the printer started print instead continue the copy.
Assuming you are saying a person is at the device making a 5 page copy and somebody sent a print job, the only way the copy job would have stopped is if the person at the copier allowed that to happen by selecting the Interrupt button.
If the person was making 5 copies as separate jobs, the machine doesn't care if a person is just there, if the copier is not currently printing a task (the persons copy job) and they are just setting a setting or loading paper, then the print job will just output, there is no way around that.
Hello!
Our Company have a Xerox 5230 and we want ask 1 thing about it.
My workmate started copy 5 page on the printer.
When she get 3 of the 5 page the fourth was from a new printing task what is printed by another workmate. So the printer interrupted the copy task.
How can we make a priority to avoid this problem?
