Re: Copying an oversized document

I have been very successful using corel draw to piece scans together.  A little fidley but if you make the connection in a place that doesn't have to be 100% matched up it works pretty good.

Re: Copying an oversized document

Hello algoma,

The only suggestion that I have would be to use the build job feature of the machine to scan the newspaper page in sections and then "stitch" the images/sections together using an image editing software program.  Since the platen is not large enough to capture the entire newpaper page, you'll have to break it down into smaller images.  Hopefully, you can put the smaller images together to make one whole image.

Copying an oversized document

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi,

I need to create a copy of an oversized document (e.g. newspaper sheet); however, the glass plate is not large enough to include the entire document, and I'm scared about putting it through the feeder since the document is newspaper and fragile. Any suggestions on how I can scan and print this as one document. I'm using the Docucolour 240.

Thanks!
