Creating or Retrieving .xst Scan Templates

Any Xerox model that supports template pool setup this is a general questions. Here in our office we have the following in use.

The only way to create a .xst file that I have found is to enable the job log but using text wrangler to analyze the job log I can see that it contains extraneous data that doesn't need to be there for a simple template. When I put a job log into the template pool it is recognized but the scans fail. If you can tell me what to edit out of the job log I can probably generate a working .xst file from that.

Hello,

I have been trying to configure a scan template pool for testing since I think that a lot of our customers could benefit from using a pool. However I cannot find any way to either create a .xst scan template or export the templates that are created on a copier to a .xst file. Setting up the pool is no problem that's simple it's getting usable .xst files to populate it that is the problem. If you can please tell me how to access the templates stored on the machine or how to create the files from scratch I would certainly appreciate it. I have checked all over searchlite and the internet and cannot find anything useful.
